Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches



Ingredients:


8 slices of brioche or thick white bread


4 oz cream cheese, softened


2 tbsp powdered sugar


1/2 tsp vanilla extract


1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced


2 tbsp strawberry jam (optional for extra sweetness)


2 tbsp butter, softened


Directions:


In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.


Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on 4 slices of bread.


Layer fresh sliced strawberries over the cream cheese. Add a small amount of strawberry jam if desired.


Top each with another slice of bread to form a sandwich.


Spread butter on the outside of each sandwich (both sides).


Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.


Grill each sandwich for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the filling is warm and slightly melted.


Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve warm with a sprinkle of powdered sugar or a drizzle of honey.

Tips:


Use softened cream cheese for easy spreading and smoother texture.
